The Eureka Mignon Dosing Funnel is designed for all espresso fans who are looking for the right funnel for their portafilter and who use a Eureka Mignon. The use of funnels on the portafilter has become increasingly popular in recent years. The advantage of a funnel is that no ground coffee falls over the edge of the portafilter. This keeps the work surface clean and minimizes waste. This is particularly practical for larger doses of 18 to 20 grams, as is common today. The ground coffee remains in the sieve both during grinding and during the subsequent preparation of the espresso puck. In the hunt for the perfect extraction, many baristas now use the so-called Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT). Eureka solves exactly this problem with the matching Eureka Mignon Dosing Funnel, which has a clever recess in the appropriate place. The Eureka dosing funnel sits securely on the outside of the portafilter with magnets and fits normal portafilters with a size of 57 to 58.3 millimeters. The black version of the funnel visually matches portafilters with black handles or Mignon variants with black accents. Alternatively, the dosing funnel is also available in a silver version.
