The Mignon Classico from the Tuscan brand Eureka is exactly what the name suggests. The grinders from the Mignon series have established themselves over the last few years as an excellent companion for portafilter machines. The reliable espresso grinders with their simple, slim and elegant design can be found in many coffee corners in this country. Compared to other models from the Mignon series, the Mignon Classico is reduced to the essentials. It produces reliably good grinding results like the other Mignons, but is particularly attractively priced because it does not have expensive extras such as a touch display. Thanks to the built-in timer, grinding is still very comfortable.

It can be that simple

As a classic on-demand grinder, the Eureka Mignon Classico is always ready to grind the next portion of espresso. If the bean container with a capacity of around 300 grams is sufficiently filled, fresh ground coffee can be ground directly into the portafilter on demand. There are two modes available for this, which can be switched between using a button on the right-hand side of the housing. In manual mode, the Mignon Classico grinds as long as the pressure switch below the ejector is held down. In timer mode, a short press of the switch is enough to start grinding and the grinding process stops when the timer has elapsed. The grinding time or portion size can be set using a rotary control. Once the right setting has been found, dosing with the timer is much more precise than grinding by eye in manual mode. As with all Eureka Mignon models, there is a rotary control to set the grinding level, which allows you to find the correct setting continuously and precisely.

Solid in every respect

The Eureka Mignon Classico impresses across the board. The 50 mm hardened steel disc grinder is powered by a powerful 260 watt motor that rotates at 1350 revolutions per minute. Thanks to the comparatively low speed and the Eureka Silent technology, the Mignon Classico combines an appropriate grinding speed with a pleasantly quiet grinding noise. With its shiny gray-silver casing and the ejector and components made of chrome steel, the Mignon Classico is also visually pleasing. The linear design language exudes classic elegance. The grinder cuts a fine figure next to almost any portafilter machine.
