Grinds quickly and homogeneously thanks to large grinding discs

The Mignon Turbo 16 CR Chrome is a high-quality coffee grinder from the Tuscan manufacturer Eureka. Eureka's grinders from the Mignon series have been very popular for some time. The reason for this is probably that Eureka manages to deliver a fantastic overall package of good grinding performance, high-quality workmanship, minimalist design and easy operation at an attractive price. The Turbo variant comes with generous 65 mm grinding discs and thus achieves an impressive grinding performance of 1.8 to 2.3 grams per second, which is extremely fast for home use.

Simple operation ensures fun for all hobby baristas

The Eureka Mignon Turbo 16 CR Chrome offers great convenience in terms of operation and cleaning. As a typical on-demand coffee grinder, the Mignon Turbo is always waiting for its next use and starts grinding at the touch of a button. Using the modern digital control, which can be programmed using a touch interface in the area of the ejection chute, two timers can be called up by tapping the cup symbols and set to a tenth of a second using the plus and minus buttons. The Eureka Mignon Turbo also has a manual mode, which is particularly useful when the grinder needs to be ground completely empty, for example when cleaning. A grinding process is usually started by pressing the contact switch below the ejection nose. During the grinding process, the portafilter can simply be hung up, leaving both hands free - for example to prepare the espresso cups. Various tests have shown that the Eureka Mignon Turbo has very little dead space. This means that only very small amounts of ground coffee remain in the grinder. This means that the grinder is also suitable for use as a single doser. Each portion of coffee beans is weighed individually and then ground completely. The grinding level can be adjusted, as is typical for Eureka, steplessly and precisely using an adjustment wheel on the front right corner. The bean container can be closed for removal and the grinder is quite easy to access for regular cleaning. Thanks to the silent technology, the Mignon Turbo grinds relatively quietly despite its speed. In addition to grinding espresso, the grinding discs are also good for filter coffee. Since the portafilter fork is removable, you can also grind in a mug or even directly in the coffee filter or French press.
