dual boiler heating system

The Dual Boiler from Sage is based on a dual boiler heating system, has a 2.5 l water tank and is made of high-quality stainless steel. The dual boiler heating system enables the simultaneous preparation of both espresso and steam for milk foam. Thanks to the integrated PID control, the temperature of the brewing water can be regulated to within +/- 1°C.

pre-brewing function

The pre-infusion wets the espresso puck in the 58mm portafilter with water under low pressure before the actual extraction process starts. This gives the result in the cup a pronounced crema. A pressure relief valve regulates the maximum pressure so that over-extraction is avoided.

LCD display

During the brewing process, the brewing time can be read on the LCD display. The display also allows you to program individual recipes and has a timer function. Espresso is dispensed using the dispensing buttons.
