Express Preparation

The Barista Express ™ from Sage lives up to its name. The entire preparation process from the bean to the wonderfully fragrant espresso in the cup takes less than a minute. This is made possible by the combination of grinder and portafilter in one machine. With all the automation and simplification of preparation, the Barista Express also offers many opportunities for individual development.

Integrated grinder

The grinder grinds at the touch of a button, with a simple press starting the automatic, programmable grinding process and providing consistent amounts for consistent results. Pressing and holding, on the other hand, allows for manual extraction of the ground coffee, which in both cases happens directly into the portafilter.

PID control

The machine's temperature control using PID control guarantees the perfect brewing temperature and thus improves extraction. The grinding level is set intuitively using a small rotary dial. For fans of coffee specialties with milk, the Barista Express ™ offers a powerful steam wand that prepares fine-pored milk foam in no time at all.
