Family tradition: coffee, pastries and cakes
In the early years of the last century, grandfather Guido opened his first shop in Siena: the "Bar Ideale", where he offered espresso from his own roast. He was one of the first bar owners to use the steam espresso machine, the Pavoni. Alessandro Nannini has been running the family business since 1989. In 2009, the headquarters for roasting and producing coffee for the "Caffè A. Nannini" brand was moved to the company's branch in Monteriggioni, just a few kilometers from Siena. The characteristic specialties of Sienese pastry are also produced on this company site. The Nannini company is traditionally linked to pastries and cakes, which is also reflected in the family emblem. Since March 1, 2013, the management of the Nannini brand La Cascina for cafeterias and pastry shops has been placed under the management of the subsidiary Villa dell' Ombrellino. The Nannini company is distinguished by its many years of experience in the restaurant and elite catering industry, its awareness of quality and its high level of coffee expertise.
variety for coffee lovers
Nannini's coffee blends enjoy a special reputation that is particularly valued among connoisseurs. With a lot of passion, tradition and great care, the company creates the best blends exclusively for its customers. There is something for every coffee lover in the range. The Etrusca offers a strong taste with a pleasantly bitter finish of roasted nuts, while the Classica blend impresses with a taste with light notes of citrus and a pleasant aftertaste with notes of cocoa and toasted bread. The variety of different blends allows coffee lovers to immerse themselves in the world of Nannini in a special way.
