The Buono V60 Power Kettle is a kettle where the temperature can be individually adjusted between 50 °C and 96 °C in 1 °C increments. You can choose between two modes, either the boiling mode or the temperature setting mode.

In boiling mode, the water is heated to the boiling temperature of 100°C, as with conventional kettles, and the device signals to you visually (via a display) and acoustically that it has reached this temperature.
In temperature setting mode, you initially set a desired temperature between 50°C and 96°C (we recommend a temperature between 92°C and 96°C for an infusion with the hand filter). You can monitor the current temperature of the water during the heating process. In temperature setting mode, you will also be given a visual and acoustic signal when your desired temperature is reached. The set temperature will then be automatically maintained for the next 15 minutes.

The kettle will automatically switch off after 10 minutes if you do not operate it during this time (in temperature setting mode, this countdown starts after the water has been kept warm for 15 minutes). The device also detects when there is no water in the kettle and then automatically stops the heating process.

The special thing about the stainless steel kettle specially developed by Hario is the long, curved and thin spout. This allows you to achieve a precise, perfected and controlled infusion when preparing your filter coffee. This allows you to distribute the water in the filter precisely and in a circular manner and avoid "cratering" in the middle of the paper filter. This ensures that all the aromas of the coffee can develop perfectly.
