The Comandante grinders are supplied with the standard axis. With this set you have the option of installing a new axis plus thread to double the grind level of your Comandante grinder. The Red Clix RX35 grind adjuster is an excellent choice for Comandante users who want to concentrate on making espresso or finely ground coffee. It is also an indispensable option for experienced coffee experts who want to use their Comandante grinder in competitions and need maximum control over their grinding settings. The main difference to the standard axis is the target grinding level per click. With the standard axis this is 30 microns. With the included Red Clix RX35 this is 15 microns. With this set we can therefore achieve very fine steps in the grinding level setting. With this set you now have even more options when making coffee so that your espresso is always perfect.

Easy installation for a new grinding experience

To install the Red Clix RX35 grind adjuster in your grinder, first disassemble your Comandante as if you were going to clean it. Be sure to follow the instructions for use for your grinder. Unscrew the grind adjuster completely until the cone comes out. Remove the standard axle and the grind adjuster from your Comandante grinder. Then place the washer in with the flat side facing outwards. Then the new axle goes in through the washer. Install this in the same way as the standard axle. Then the crank thread goes on the grinder body. The second washer is now positioned inside; the raised side of the disk must be in contact with the ball bearing. Now the cone including the spring is inserted. Finally, the supplied thread is screwed onto the axle. It is important to proceed carefully here as the thread is very fine. You can now start grinding and refine your grind settings even further.
