The Sette 30 AP from Baratza – professional coffee grinder for beginners in the coffee scene

The electric coffee grinders in the Baratza Sette series – Sette is the Italian name for the number seven – were designed according to this number. The shape was deliberately chosen so that the motor can be installed behind the grinder, which means that the ground coffee falls out directly and less coffee residue remains in the grinder.

The advantages of the Baratza Sette 30 AP at a glance

The grinder, which has been developed and perfected over many years in Liechtenstein, enables efficient grinding and guarantees a long service life. Unlike conventional conical grinders, it is not the inner part of the grinder that rotates, but the outer part. The Sette 30 AP has the same grinder as the Sette 270. This grinder grinds at a fast rate of 3.5g per second for espresso and 5.5g per second for coffee. The innovative, pull-out portafilter holder enables the coffee to be dispensed directly into the portafilter, the supplied ground coffee container or even into the hand filter. The position of the portafilter holder can be individually adjusted depending on the type of preparation. The precise timer function is accurate to 0.1 seconds and thus enables very precise portioning. With the washers supplied, you can preset grinding levels, for example to grind coarse filter coffee. The grinding level setting on the Sette 30 AP has an immediate effect, as there are no ground coffee residues in the grinder. The built-in LCD display provides a good overview and offers a high level of user comfort.
