The Galapagos Islands, famous for their unique flora and fauna, are located 1000 km from the west coast of South America, in the Pacific Ocean and have belonged to Ecuador since the end of the last century. These 100% Grand Gru Arabica coffee beans of the Bourbon variety come from the island of San Christà³bal, also known as Chatham, the easternmost of the Ecuadorian Galapagos Islands. They grow in controlled organic cultivation on fertile volcanic rock. The result is a full-bodied coffee with a fine fruity note reminiscent of tropical fruits. There are also spicy, nutty aromas and an intense taste of dark chocolate.
