The Lungo Fairtrade capsules in a pack of ten from Julius Meinl consist of a mixture of fairly traded beans with an Arabica content of 80%. The refined beans come from South and Central America and Asia. In many growing areas, South and Central America offer the best conditions for growing highland coffee plants of the Arabica variety. In Asia, however, Robusta is increasingly grown. In contrast to the fine fruitiness and sweetness of the Arabica beans, a blend of 20% Robusta gives the Lungo Fairtrade from Julius Meinl a complex flavor and ensures a wonderful crema.
