With every espresso, a constant contact pressure of the ground coffee is important to guarantee the perfect and consistent flow time of the water through the ground coffee. In addition, the flat tamper surface ensures even pressure distribution. The tamper is hand-made from stainless steel and aluminum and therefore guarantees a long service life.
