Leveler Tamper flat

Say goodbye to channeling and over- or under-extraction! With the flat tamper from ECM, you can take tamping to a new level and achieve an optimal espresso result. Unevenness in the surface of the coffee grounds is eliminated thanks to the flat tamper surface, which ensures even pressure distribution. With every espresso, constant pressure on the coffee grounds is important to guarantee the perfect and consistent flow time of the water through the coffee grounds. Only when each coffee grain has released the same amount of aroma through even extraction does the espresso taste balanced and aromatic. The rounded top of the tamper fits comfortably in the hand and allows for a pleasant tamping process. The thread allows the tamper to be adjusted in height.

How to use the Leveler correctly
1. After you have ground the coffee, a mound of ground coffee will form. The leveler should be gently tapped against the outer portafilter to distribute the mound of ground coffee
2. Then stroke the portafilter with the flat of your hand to roughly smooth out the coffee grounds
3. Place the leveler on the portafilter and turn it a few times
