Caffé New York: Coffee from "Sor Ugo"
Espresso, bars and Caffé New York are inextricably linked. The story of Caffé New York begins in the 1930s, in the small Italian town of Montecatini Terme. Ugo Incerpo was the owner of the Bar New York in Montecatini near Florence. He wanted to offer a special product to the bathers who came to the temple city for a spa treatment. For this reason, Ugo decided to buy a coffee roaster and impress his customers with the finest blends.
New York - a family tradition
Word of the quality of his coffee spread very quickly and guests even came from Florence to try SOR UGO coffee. In the 1950s and 1960s, Ugo Incerpi's son-in-law, Oscar Onori, developed the small "one-man" roasting business and expanded sales so that Caffé New York found its way into bars and restaurants throughout Tuscany.
Tuscan Coffee in the World
The coffee is now sold beyond Italy's borders and is delighting more and more customers with its unmistakable taste. A story in which the roastery has made it its mission to develop the best espresso for its customers with complete dedication and sacrifice. To this day, Caffé New York is considered one of the top gourmet espresso coffees among coffee lovers.
