The Rocket R60 V portafilter is the further development of the R58. The tried and tested basic machine has received a few upgrades that will make espresso enthusiasts who like to experiment want more. The R60V allows you to get even more out of your beans than you could have ever imagined using variable programmable pressure profiles. The five programmable pressure profiles allow you to brew for the first 5 seconds at 7 bar, then 10 seconds at 9.5 bar and finally 15 seconds at 6 bar. Compared to classic brewing with a constant 9 bar, you can extract very individual taste nuances and aromas from the same beans. There are no limits to your creativity. This also benefits the trend towards lightly roasted specialty coffees, as differentiated impressions often produce breathtaking results.

Proven technology

The R60 portafilter uses the E61 brewing group with brewing lever and ceramic bell. A rotary pump provides the necessary pressure, while the water is supplied via the removable water tank or via a fixed water connection. Steam and hot water are supplied via the two large rotary valves, while a PID control controls the temperatures of the two boilers. The values ​​for pump and boiler pressure can be read off the two built-in pressure gauges. The heat-up time of the portafilter machine is around 17 minutes. An ECO mode can be activated. The high-quality boiler insulation ensures optimal heat storage and better energy efficiency.
