Adjustable fastening

The Joe Frex stainless steel immersion thermometer makes frothing milk child's play. The thermometer has temperature scales in °C and °F. The temperature range covered is 109 °C, or 220 °F, and is therefore more than sufficient for frothing milk. In addition, the thermometer can also be used for brewing water. The thermometer is equipped with an adjustable fastening clip to adapt to different milk jugs. A small cover cap is included for protection when traveling.

Colored scale

Important temperature values ​​are marked on the scale. For example, 60 °C, from this value onwards, firm, fine-pored milk foam can be created. There is also the optimal temperature range for milk foam, which is between 65 °C and a maximum of 77 °C. This range is marked green on the thermometer. The red range should not be reached when frothing milk, as the milk begins to disintegrate here and develop an unpleasant taste. The 100 °C limit is also marked.
