Filter paper with tradition

Commercially available filter paper usually has the disadvantage that it has a high degree of its own taste. This has a negative effect on the taste and brewed coffee quality of the coffee. The art of paper making in Japan has a tradition that is more than a thousand years old (Japanese paper is the paper that is made from the Mitsumata plant, known for its fine fibers and special softness). Hario has used this knowledge to develop the V60 paper filter, a paper filter that gives off almost no taste of its own to the coffee water, retains all of the important aromas of the coffee and filters out the rudiments. Due to their conical shape, the Hario paper filters are suitable for porcelain coffee filters and drip decanters. All filters are available in three different sizes that fit the Hario V60 porcelain filter 01, 02 or 03.
