Supremo

The family-run traditional coffee roastery is located in Unterhaching, south of Munich. The Supremo specialty roastery was founded in 2005 and has stood for quality and skill ever since. The selection of the best green coffees and the collaboration with selected small farmers form the basis for the company's premium coffees. The Supremo team regularly travels to coffee-producing countries in search of special features to offer to customers. When the green coffees arrive at the Supremo coffee roastery, something special and unique awaits them: the coffee humidor. The green coffee humidor ensures the perfect climate for the green coffee.

Best Craftsmanship

The company's credo is first-class craftsmanship. True to the motto "good things take time", the Supremo roastery is dedicated to slow, single-origin roasting in cast-iron roasting drums until each coffee is roasted according to its specific needs. In this way, the aromatic magic unfolds from the inside of the beans and the best roasting profile is developed for each coffee. This creates a precise result from the small batches for later enjoyment in the cup. After roasting, the beans are extinguished with air to intensify the roasted aroma.

Quality and Rarities

Each batch of coffee is individually tested in the in-house coffee laboratory. In addition, the favorite coffee beans are subjected to a detailed cupping. There is also a public cupping once a week. Every Tuesday of the month, a selection of the single-origin coffees for the next month are tasted. As part of the "Cup of Excellence," the Supremo roastery takes part in the auctions of the fine coffees. As a supporting member of the competition, Supremo also supports the small farmers who cultivate these rarities with great care.

The quality competition of the "Micro Lot Challenge" is the selection of exceptional top coffees of the respective vintage. This international competition was initiated by the roasting company Supremo and has been held by Supremo for several years. The focus is on fairly rewarding the families who lovingly devote themselves to growing coffee for the outstanding quality of the specialty coffees. The coffee is imported directly for this purpose.
