Reneka

RENEKA's success story began in 1919, under the name "Manachau" and then from 1931 under "Galvanisation Moderne". Chrome plating of orthopedic devices and automotive parts was the specialty at the time. But then - it was in 1927 - a separate silversmith's shop with attached production was founded under the new - and still existing - brand name RENEKA. What does RENEKA stand for? The name is based on the founder of the company, Rene Kauss.

A Chronology of Innovation

First, the company's range was expanded to include a fully chrome-plated wall-mounted coffee machine. During the World War, operations ceased in 1939. In 1946, the company continued with the aim of successfully placing a countertop coffee machine on the French market. In the years to come, innovation and the further development of the coffee machine portfolio were RENEKA's top priority. In 1986, RENEKA succeeded for the first time in designing thermoregulated injection systems with the "Plus" series. The "VIVA" series followed ten years later. As of 2015, RENEKA can be described as one of the leading manufacturers of professional portafilter machines for the French market. But RENEKA machines are also highly regarded internationally. The outstanding quality, the selection of robust materials and technological innovation are particularly impressive. Asia, America and Australia are now among RENEKA's most important partners.

Technology that convinces: An excerpt of high quality

RENEKA has developed some innovative, patented technologies that are revolutionizing the coffee world. One of them is the Aroma Perfect brewing group. It opens automatically via three flexible support points depending on the filling level and pressure. It achieves the highest quality even with different amounts of coffee. The portafilter is easy to insert and, thanks to the integrated stop concept, is always at the right angle. This means that even with different amounts of ground coffee, the extraction is perfect and the quality is consistently high! RENEKA has another ace up its sleeve with the "Micro Sieve". The sieve geometry is very fine and consists of a filter system with 15,000 precision holes, instead of around 563 holes as in conventional coffee sieves. This means there are no more residues in the cup and the coffee is more aromatic and fuller-bodied. The RENEKA machines are very precise in their extraction temperature. The machines' solid brewing head made of lead-free brass is chrome-plated and compensates for temperature fluctuations. The “Soft Pre-Infusion” ensures that the coffee “cake” is gently pre-soaked so that all of the coffee’s aromas can spread perfectly.

In the beautiful French Alsace, the wine is produced with love and dedication

RENEKA has been producing, developing and selling espresso machines since 1932. The company is based near Strasbourg in Alsace. Incidentally, RENEKA's guiding principle is the elephant. RENEKA sees this as a kind of quality stamp, as elephants are strong, consistent and communicative, but also sensitive and cautious. Of course, RENEKA machines also promise perfect milk foam - for coffee specialties such as cappuccino, latte macchiato and the like.
