passion and temperament
The roastery is characterized by the passion and temperament of the Italian island of Sicily. The range is based on the MILLE SOLI CAFFÈ ESPRESSO and MILLE SOLI CAFFÈ CREMA blends and the organic MILLE SOLI BIO CAFFÈ ESPRESSO range, which particularly highlight the brand. The Mille Soli Caffè Espresso is harmonious, fruity and acidic with a hint of chocolate aromas. The Caffè Crema is a real all-rounder that is ideal for any coffee specialty and tastes particularly soft and round. The organic Caffè Espresso brings intense flavors to your cup, with nuances of dark berries and fine chocolate.
Traditional roasting process
Mille Soli coffee is roasted three times. The beans are roasted using gas in the traditional drum roasting process. Gently and by hand - just like 100 years ago. The roasting process is interrupted three times, allowing the beans to cool down each time so that they can be roasted for longer than usual. Years of experience are the basis for this completely new concept, which allows the beans to be roasted for longer. At the beginning of the roasting process, the remaining moisture is removed from the green coffee beans with a five-minute roast. The first result shows the coffee beans in honey-yellow colors. Their scent already gives an idea of the later coffee aromas. After a cooling air mist bath, the coffee beans are roasted further in the second roast at around 120 °C to 205 °C. The beans turn hazelnut brown and already smell of freshly roasted coffee. After a further cooling phase, the beans get their beautiful chocolate color. Many years of experience, tradition and Sicilian passion are the components of the extraordinary product quality.
Back to the Origin of Sicily
When Mille Soli was taken over by the international sales company Caffè Cultura GmbH, the company decided to return to the old roasting masters and preserve the long-standing knowledge and traditions of its homeland. In addition to the well-known Mille Soli brand, the MariaSole brand also belongs to the company and rounds off the company's coffee variety. Note: The image rights are owned by Caffè Cultura GmbH.
