The Tamper Base Convex is the ideal accessory for all espresso lovers who want to achieve optimal brewing water distribution. With conventional flat sieves or a larger amount of espresso powder, problems can quickly arise: the space between the shower sieve and the coffee powder is too small and the water cannot flow evenly through the coffee. This is where the Tamper Base Convex comes into play! Its convex shape creates a depression in the middle that ensures perfect water distribution. This makes every espresso a moment of enjoyment!

Compatible with multiple models

The Base Convex is compatible with a wide range of tamper handles, including the TECHNIK, EXKLUSIV, POP, ELEGANCE and CLASSIC series. Particularly practical: For handles from the CLASSIC, TECHNIK and POP series, the rubber disc remains in the lower part. For handles from the EXKLUSIVE and ELEGANCE series, however, we recommend removing it before use. The Joe Frex Base Convex is made from high-quality stainless steel using a precise CNC lathe. This enables a consistent result when tamping.
