The grinding container is particularly adapted to the traditional look, as it is constructed like a preserving jar with a swing top and a rubber seal. The high-quality ceramic grinder is also decorated with wood and bronze metal and rounds off the overall design of the retro hand mill.

Traditional look meets modern grinding performance

Despite the beautiful retro design, the Hario Canister meets all the requirements of a modern hand coffee grinder. It has a ceramic grinder, which ensures that no heat is generated during grinding and thus the aroma of the ground coffee is not lost. This also prevents the grinder from becoming dull, so that the Hario Canister can be used for several years. Even after some time, the grinding result of the coffee beans remains even. During the grinding process, an anti-slip cover made of silicone on the base of the grinder ensures safe handling. Depending on your preference, the grinding level can be continuously adjusted using a fixation.

NOTE: During the grinding process, make sure that the upper crank screw is tightened; this ensures that the grinding crank is held securely during grinding.

Easy cleaning

Cleaning the Canister hand grinder is easy and straightforward. The grounds container can be cleaned in the dishwasher and the ceramic conical grinder is best cleaned under running water. Regular cleaning of the container is highly recommended as coffee beans contain fats and oils that can build up over time. This leads to the coffee tasting bad as the new beans absorb the old fats and oils.
