With the cafetto EVO® espresso machine cleaner you get the ultimate cleaner for your espresso and portafilter machine. You can also use the cleaner to rinse the brewing group. The cleaner has a unique formula that dissolves quickly and can be rinsed off easily. Coffee oils, coffee grounds and stains are a thing of the past thanks to the EVO® espresso machine cleaner. The taste of the coffee can also be improved by regular and thorough cleaning.

Free of phosphates and chlorine

The espresso machine cleaner from cafetto is free of genetically modified organisms, i.e. GMO-free. The cleaner breaks down quickly and is free of phosphates and chlorine. Always keep the espresso machine cleaner container closed when not in use and pay attention to the warnings on the manufacturer's packaging. Follow the instructions provided for cleaning.

Instructions for backflushing the brewing group

1. Remove the filter from the portafilter and replace it with a blank filter.

2. For daily cleaning, add 1 teaspoon of EVO® Espresso Machine Cleaner to the blind filter and insert the portafilter into the brewing group as if you were brewing espresso. If the machine is cleaned less frequently, use 2 teaspoons.

3. Start the cycle and let it run for 10 seconds to allow the cleaner to dissolve.

4. Stop cycle and leave for 10 seconds.

5. Start and stop the cycle 4 more times - run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.

6. Remove the portafilter from the brewing group and rinse it well under the water jet of the brewing group. Switch off the machine.

7. Replace the portafilter with the blind filter, start and stop the cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure a thorough rinse. Remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter.

8. Brew a single espresso to rehydrate the machine and discard it.
