The BEEM GRIND Intense coffee grinder is ideal for grinding coffee at home. Thanks to the stainless steel conical grinder, which can be adjusted in 15 steps, you have full control over the ground coffee. The desired amount can be set using a rotary control based on the grinding time.

The advantages of having your own mill

To make delicious coffee, the most important requirement is that the coffee beans are ground as freshly as possible. Using your own coffee grinder can significantly improve the taste compared to pre-ground coffee. One of the advantages of grinding yourself is that you can control the degree of grinding, i.e. how fine or coarse the coffee powder is. Depending on the preparation method and taste, coffee should be ground coarser or finer. The spectrum ranges from extremely fine for Turkish coffee and espresso to coarse-grained grounds for French press and cold brew. A properly adjustable grinder is essential for this. Devices with a chopper blade grind the coffee beans fresh, but are inadequate for good results due to the lack of control over the degree of grinding and their heterogeneous grinding result. The GRIND Intense from BEEM offers all of these advantages and enables a successful introduction to grinding coffee at home.

The GRIND Intense is extremely easy to operate. The bean container has space for around 160 grams of coffee beans and is darkened to protect the beans from UV radiation. The grinding level is controlled by turning the bean container, and the current setting can be read off a scale. To start a grinding process, set the rotary knob to the desired portion size (see below for orientation). For most filter-like preparation methods, a ratio of 60 grams of coffee powder to one liter of water is recommended. The grinder and the grinder should be cleaned regularly. A brush is included with the grinder for this purpose. A vacuum cleaner can also be used to vacuum out the grinder. The housing of the BEEM GRIND Intense is very compact with a width of just 9.6 cm and the grinder can be fixed to the worktop with suction cups.

To start with, the following overview serves as a guide when setting the portion size:

• Two beans: 4 – 8 cups
• Three beans: 8 – 12 cups

The amount dispensed depends on the grinding level. It is advisable to use a scale to find the preferred setting.
