At the same time, Blasercafé is a traditional company and was founded in Zurich in 1922 by Walter Blaser. Shortly afterwards, the company moved to Bern and took over a property that served as a roastery, office and sales shop. The company is now run by the 4th generation and adheres to the values that were important to the company founder. Product quality and customer satisfaction are paramount. The roastery's success proves it. From a small coffee trading business, the company has grown into an internationally oriented, medium-sized family business, divided into Blaser Café AG with the roasted coffee business and Blaser Trading AG with the green coffee business, with the company headquarters in Bern (Switzerland).

The traditional production and passion for the product coffee prevent the roastery from becoming devoted to filthy lucre. Blasercafé pays great attention to product quality. This means that 80% of the origin of the green coffee used can already be traced back to a producer. The company is working on achieving 100% attribution. The transfer of acquired knowledge is passed on through all production steps right up to the final product. Research and development are the top priority. By combining the various strategic areas, Blasercafé develops and creates new and innovative products.
